Fletcher Technical Community College maintains a Testing Center which is located on the Main Campus in Room 103 and allows students to be tested in the following areas:
- our placement test for incoming students. Compass is a computer adaptive placement test measuring skills in Math, English, and Reading. It helps determine placement in courses and can be used as an alternative to the ACT.
– the online Pre-Admission Exam for entrance into the ASN program. It is one of several sources used to assist in making the most accurate and fair decision possible regarding the admission of an applicant into an allied health education program. Students must register for the PAX test at
www.nlnoonlinetesting.org .

– the online entrance exam for the Practical Nursing program. . It is one of several sources used to assist in making the most accurate and fair decision possible regarding the admission of an applicant into an allied health education program.
– the National Occupational Competency Testing Institute exam offered to graduating seniors to measure performance and written skills in the areas of Accounting, Office Systems, Machine, Automotive, Electronics, Diesel, and Welding.
