Free Welding Training

The US Dept. of Labor(USDOL) in partnership with the LA Dept. of Labor is funding welding training for up to 475 individuals.

Training with be provided in 3 week (90 clock hrs.) non-credit programs available for day and evening classes.

Additionally, each student will be provided a FREE TOOLKIT including: welding shield, welding gloves chipping hammer, wire brush, safety glasses, welding cap, safety toe boots, torch lighter, 2 khaki shirts, etc. Pathways Flyer

To register: Stop by the main campus with your driver's license/picture id, social security card, and birth certificate. You will be asked to fill out an application.

Free Residential A/C Helper Training

Beginning in January, FTCC will be offering free A/C helper training.

Interested students can enroll in this 5 month training program during the regular spring term registration.
