Fletcher Technical Community College student chapter of American Design Drafting Association visited Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. LUMCON TourThe L.E. Fletcher student chapter of the American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) recently visited the Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium (LUMCON) in Cocodrie, Louisiana. The members were given an informative overview of the studies, experiments, and data collection that the facility performs. Some of the topics discussed were coastal erosion, dead zones, and habitat concerns for south Louisiana. The students were able to make a connection between their roles in drafting/engineering projects and why these projects are important to their communities. |
