Technical Programs

2006 Drafting Contest Winners

Drafting and design students from L.E. Fletcher Technical Community College, Houma, Louisiana, recently participated in the American Design Drafting Association's 2006 annual drafting contest. Congratulations are extended to the following students who competed against 167 other drafting students across the country. The following students received the Governors Award of Excellence which is the highest national award given by ADDA for their drafting contest. From left to right are:

  • Kyle Guillory, Board of Director's Award - Technical Illustration

  • Tony Cangelosi, President's Award - Electrical
  • Seth Aucoin, President's Award - Structural
  • Nicolas Avet, President's Award - Mechnical

All recipients received an award plaque. The Governors Award of Excellence award winners were invited the 47th annual conference in Nashville, Tennessee to receive their plaque and $50 award. This national award is a very prestigious one demonstrating the excellent drafting skills of these students.
