Industrial Electronics Technician

The purpose of this program is to provide special classroom instruction & practical shop experience to prepare students for employment in a variety of jobs in the field of Electronics Technology or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in related Electronics Technology occupations. The program generally prepares individuals to assemble, install, operate, maintain and repair electrical/electronic equipment used in business & industry. This course includes instruction, on actual equipment or associated trainers, relating to power supplies, amplifiers, motors, digital & computer circuitry, programmable controllers, computer peripherals, general robotic applications, lasers, fiber optics, communication systems & video systems.
